Second semester we adopted Anna Winter to be one of our Sunday girls.
The next Sunday, Danette got to come too. Danette has gotten to spend most Sundays with us this school year. Anna has Christian Service on Sunday afternoons, so sometimes she doesn't get to stay all day with us.
On this Sunday, Anna had time for a game of Blokus .
Around Valentine's Day, our church had a banquet. Rowen took pictures of most of the couples who were there. Someone took our picture.

Our pastoral team are so wonderful and are always busy taking care of the people in our church and ministering to the neighbors around the church.
The church had a wedding shower for Amy Weddle in February. She got married in April--a post yet to be revealed. Amy has been a wonderful part of our church and we miss her since she married and moved away to Pennsylvania. She helped with Junior Church, sang special songs, faithfully ministered at the nursing home, and has served on the mission field in Honduras.
The same Saturday as the wedding shower, Tim and Brenda drove to Kentucky on their way to North Carolina. We enjoyed the evening and next day with them before they left on the following Monday. Jason and Karen came over for the evening.
On Sunday, we had Tim, Brenda, Charissa, and Felix with us and Mikah Litchfield was visiting in the area and came to dinner with us too!
Felix was quite taken with Mikah!

Some of the group took a chilly walk in the neighborhood next to our subdivision.
The next morning, we said our goodbyes and they went on their way further east.
We were very happy that they delivered Joanna's quilt to me to finish, and also took Faith's quilt top with them and eventually to the quilter when they got back home from their trip.
