Janet has enjoyed getting accustomed to working in the Donor Records room at GBSC. The job involves opening mail, logging donations, making and sending receipts, updating the data base with new donors, alumni and Revivalist magazine subscribers' contact information. She also appreciates getting to participate in the daily staff prayer meetings.
Rowen has been busy with installations of blinds, shutters, closet systems and lots of driving in beautiful Northern Kentucky between customers.
Elizabeth and Emily have been putting in full-time plus hours at Ft. Wright Chick-fil-A. On her days off, Elizabeth is trying to keep up with a heavy reading online class--Children's Literature. She has gotten very familiar with several libraries in our county. Emily tries to do something fun and restorative on her days off.
Guests for June Sunday meals: Jim and Anna Tremaine, Emma and Elliana Wilson, Jimmy Garcia, Jason and Karen Albertson, Laura, Carolyn, and Grant Langstaff, Steve, Korin and Daniel Harms, and Sarah Watson.
We enjoyed a sweet but brief visit from our son, Timothy, who came to spend a day with Rowen for Father's Day a week later. They did a road trip over to Huntington, West Virginia and back.
One evening on the way to church, we saw a baby fawn by the road a block or so away. Apparently its mother told it to lie still, because it was!
The deer have been very friendly, spending time in our yard.
A few days later
The following Wednesday when Rowen was mowing the lawn and had the garage door up, this sight greeted him when he got ready to put the door down...
He had to convince the little guy to go back out into the hot evening!
A picture from Brent LeClere and Megan Whitaker's wedding. They were both students at GBSC.
Our house is under contract to a young couple expecting a baby girl.
We have a house under contract in Florence, Kentucky, convenient to 71/75 for the ones who travel often to GBSC, and close to shopping, church, and Rowen's work. As the Lord continues to lead and help, we will be moving mid-August.
See Emily's blogpost for the longer, more detailed version of our June happenings...
